Dandy was born in Lovina, on Bali's north coast, in 1999, the year that gives Ninetynine Tattoo its name. He founded the studio in his hometown, bringing equal parts studio discipline and island energy to every piece. Each one starts as a conversation: what it means to you, where it sits on the body, and how it should age over the next twenty years, not just the next twenty days.
The focus is blackwork, fine line, and custom ornamental work, built freehand where it serves the design and drawn tight where precision matters most. Every client leaves with a piece that was made for their body, not pulled off a wall.
